CBSE has announced changes in its syllabus for CBSE Class 10 Exams 2022. According to the new syllabus, now for the 2021 batch, CBSE will conduct the exam in 2 terms. In this, the first term examination will be conducted in November-December 2021. Whereas in term 2 exam may be conducted in March-April 2022. The date of conducting the examination will be decided on the basis of the existing number of corona patients in the country.
CBSE Board informed that all the exams of 11th and 12th can be conducted in a window period of 4-8 weeks. Now the assessment marks of 11th and 12th will be provided on the basis of unit tests/ exploratory activities/ practicals/ projects. CBSE will announce the dates of Term 1 and Term 2 examinations on time keeping in view the circumstances of the times. In the notification issued by CBSE, it has been emphasized that internal assessment, practical and consideration should be given to make the project work credible and valid. It is expected that this CBSE Class 10 Exams 2022 Pattern will prove to be effective in this difficult time of Corona.
CBSE New Moderation Policy
Central Board of Secondary Education has clarified in its notification that the new Moderation Policy has been issued specifically to ensure proper distribution of marks. CBSE has issued instructions to all the schools to act as per its policy to ensure proper distribution of these new marks. Now all CBSE schools will create a student profile in which all the assessments of the student’s school academic year will be kept in digital format.
CBSE will now conduct the examination of 10th and 12th students according to the bifurcated syllabus at the end of each session. This examination will be conducted in the academic session 2021-22 by dividing it into two phases. The exam will be conducted with a 50% syllabus in each part. In the official statement issued, it has been said that now the academic session 2021-22 will be divided into two phases. The first phase examination can be conducted in November-December 2021 and the second phase examination can be conducted in March-April 2022.
