Sahakar Mitra Internship Scheme has been introduced by the corporation to promote summer internship programs. These summer internships will provide work-related learning experiences to the applicants who have enrolled in the scheme. These learning experiences will be related to the special fields of NCDC. More about the scheme – The government has launched various schemes for the benefit of the students and young interns so that they can get comprehensive industrial knowledge and develop practical skills.

Interns can learn knowledge and they will be given more opportunities for cooperatives sectors. It is important for the interns and professionals to have knowledge about innovative solutions. The scheme was launched by Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar. Under the scheme, a monthly allowance of Rs.10,000 will be given to the candidate.

Number and location of interns The NCDC has notified that not more than 60 interns in a year can be at its regional offices, LINAC, and head office. At one time only two interns can be at the regional office of the NCDC. Only two interns are recommended to NCDC every year by every institution. The reports made by the interns are the property of NCDC and interns cannot claim the reports. The interns can also not publish any work related to the report and internship.

  • Every month the candidate will be given consolidated amount of Rs. 10,000 for four months i.e., Rs.40,000 total.
  • Expenses incurred related to reports or plan preparation, data collection, analysis amounted to Rs.5000 will be paid to the intern.

  • First the candidate should check the eligibility criteria of the scheme. the candidate should know whether or not he is eligible for the scheme.

  • Then go to the official website of NCDC.
  • The online portal of the internship was launched by the government for the internship.
  • The scheme can be applied online only. Interested and eligible candidates have to apply for the scheme online only. On the official fill on the registration form and attach necessary documents.

The selection process of Sahakar Mitra Internship Scheme

The selection process for the scheme is as under-

  • For the scheme, the recommendation is made by the Head of the department of UGC/ AICTE/ ICAR recognized universities.
  • Under the scheme, there will be a special meeting to shortlist the interns prescribed by MD. The screening process is done on the basis of bio-data and recommendations from institutes or sponsoring organizations.
  • The interns are placed at HO/ LINAC/ Ros. The placement will be done on the preference of the interns and requirements of NCDC.
  • A Mentor will supervise the intern and will provide information and orientation, guide through assignments, and other internship activities.
  • If an intern is at RO, then he or she will have to assist in making preparing the projects or reports on the expansion of the business of cooperative energy. A written report is to be submitted by the intern within two weeks of the completion of the internship.
  • The intern has to describe his or her experience in the internship in that written report.
  • This written report was submitted but the intern will be kept with NCDC as their property rights, also there can be no claim on the reports by the intern.
  • The intern cannot publish his analysis or any research and study material used in the report.
  • There is no direct liability on NCDC on finding of the business plan or report, detailed written report submitted by the intern.
