In this article we are going to discuss about the selection procedure, eligibility criteria and how and when to apply for the recruitment. All the interested candidates should hurry up and start applying for the post because the online applications have already started. The online applications were started on 1st February 2022 and are going to end on 7th March 2022.
The application fees can be paid both online and offline ways. To selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in different stages of recruitment. There will be total of 4 stages in recruitment of SSC CHSL. First stage will be Tier 1 examination which is going to be a computer based exam (Online Exam) conducted in different centers of India.

The candidates selected from Tier 1 exam will be short listed for next round which is Tier 2 exam. The Tier 2 exam will be a written exam. The third stage is going to be a skill test. Candidates who will be able to clear first stages will be moved to last round which is Document verification.

The candidates who have applied for the posts or will apply for the posts should download their admit cards from the official website after the application. It is mandatory for candidates to take their admit cards to each and every stage of selection without admit card they will not be permitted in any exam.

The Application fee for the post varies from category to category of candidates. The application fee for general category candidates is Rs. 100 but for ST/ SC/ OBC Candidates/ ex servicemen there will be no application fee. The application fee can paid online and offline. To apply fees online candidates can apply through SBI portal. The link will be given on official website of SSC. To pay fees offline candidates have to download challan from there and pay the fees in any SBI branch.
SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria 2022
- Candidate should be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan but if a candidate is from any other country then he or she should be permanent resident of India.
- The minimum age to apply for the posts is 18 year.
- The maximum age to apply for the posts is 36 year.
- Some age relaxations will also be given to SC/ ST/ OBC candidates or ex servicemen.
- Candidate must have completed 12th class to apply for posts
SSC CHSL Selection Procedure 2022
Exam Pattern for Tier 1 Exam: this exam is going to be computer based exam. There will be total of `100 Multiple Choice Questions. 2 marks will be awarded for each correct answer. There will also be negative marking in exam. .50 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The time given to complete the exam will be 1 hour.

The time given to complete the exam will be 1 hour.
